Invitation for Seminar by Karnataka electricity employees and engineers on “ILL Effects of Electricity Privatization and its Consequences on Farmers and Consumers” on 10 Aug 2022

Dear Friends, My beloved brother and sister employees of KPTCL and ESCOMs and Friends of different trade unions,

The National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers has given directions to all the electricity personnel all over India to stop work to protest against the proposed Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2022. This is a draconian bill which is anti-worker, anti-officer, anti-engineer, anti- people, anti-nation and more importantly anti-farmer.

The all India federations along with farmers’ organisation and opposition MPs are trying their level best to thwart the hasty and illogical efforts of the Govt of India who are bent upon in bringing this anti-labour bill in this Parliament session, by throwing all democratic procedures and traditions to winds.

Along with nation-wide protest on 10th August, the Federation of Karnataka Electricity Engineers, Employees, Account officers, SC/ST Welfare Association is organising a seminar to enlighten electricity employees about the

“ILL EFFECTS OF ELECTRICITY PRIVITIZATION AND ITS CONSIQUENCES ON FARMERS AND CONSUMERS”

on 10.8.2022 at 11 AM

at KEB ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION HALL, RACE COURSE ROAD, BANGALORE 560001.

The Federation Leaders will speak and the Chief Guest and main speaker will be Comrade Amarjeet Kaur, National General Secretary, AITUC.

You are all requested to attend on time to know more about the ill effects of this Bill. Please bring your colleagues in more numbers.
