Conference of Karnataka electricity employees and engineers organised in Bangalore against the decision of the Central Government to pass the new electricity law in parliament

Recently, Union Power Minister RK Singh presented the new electricity bill in the parliament. To discuss the effects of the proposed law on electricity consumers, employees and engineers, a conference of the leaders of all organisations of Karnataka was called by Karnataka State Electricity Employees Union, which is affiliated to All India Federation of Electricity Employees, on 10.08.2022 at the union office in Anand Rao Circle, Bangalore.

All the honourable guests were welcomed on the stage by the leaders of Karnataka State Electricity Employees Union. The President of Karnataka State Electricity Employees Union gave detailed information about the organisation of the conference.

Com. Amarjeet Kaur, National General Secretary of All India Trade Union Congress, Com. Mohan Sharma, General Secretary of All India Federation of Electricity Employees, Com. Samiullah (Karnataka), Deputy Secretary General, and Com. Krushna Bhoyar, National Secretary and General Secretary of Maharashtra State Electricity Workers Federation, addressed the conference. Hundreds of office bearers of Karnataka state electricity employees, engineers and officers organisations participated in this conference.
