Police forcefully entered in Electricity Department premises to arrest trade union leaders at 10.30 pm in the night of 02 October. About 500 power employees gave mass, arrest shouting slogans. Power Strike in decisive phase.
Power Employees have decided to continue dharna throughout night.
All arrested yesterday about 600 employees were released on 3rd October early morning by 5 am. However, they arrested further 3 Union leaders today morning at their home in Puducherry.
Strike and demonstrations are continuing in whole of Puducherry with enthusiasm.
NCCOEEE and AIPEF leaders, Er Shailendra Dubey, Prashant N Chowdhary, Er T Jayanthi and Subramanian held discussions with leaders of Joint Action Committee of Puducherry.
Strike is continuing on 5th day.
