Since early October, the Federal Bank Employees Association has been holding protest demonstrations for adequate recruitment, regularisation, and honouring of settlements and against outsourcing, performance-linked bonus, and harassment of employees. Federal bank employees are also protesting against forcing insurance policies on customers. Their latest demonstration was in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on 29 October.
