Office bearers of unions and associations of 41 ordnance factories all over the country submitted representations for the Defence Minister on 4 November

 

 

Ordnance Factory employees observed protest week against anti-employee measures from October 30 to November 4 and on November 4, office bearers of unions and associations in 41 ordnance factories across the country submitted memorandums to the Defence Minister through the head of the institute.

President of All India Defence Employees Federation (AIDEF) Shri S.N. Pathak told that after corporatisation, insensitive attitude towards employees is being adopted by the seven Defence PSUs and The Department of Defence Production and many anti-employee orders have started being implemented. He said that there is a growing discontent among the ordnance factory employees against the insensitive attitude of the government. Protest Week has been observed through various programs to place the demands of the employees before the government.
