Message of Mr. Jitendra Singh Gurjar, General Secretary, Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Engineers Association
A large number of electricity engineers from all over the state unanimously passed a resolution condemning the undemocratic, arbitrary, oppressive, negative and tyrannical practices of the top management of energy corporations in the emergency general meeting convened by the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Engineers Association today, November 27, in Lucknow. To protest against the management’s attitude and to solve the burning problems, electricity engineers decided to go on strike and declared that they would go on strike as soon as the strike was called by the Vidyut Karmachari Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti.
Many thanks to the engineers who came from every corner of the state.
We do not only hope but have full faith that new energy will be infused in the ongoing movement.
