Report of Nashik Circle of Maharashtra State Electricity Workers Federation
An important meeting regarding the 2023 Nashik Convention was organised by the Nashik Circle of the Maharashtra State Electricity Workers Federation and conducted with enthusiasm under the leadership of the Central Advisor of the Federation Com. VD Dhanwate Mama and in the presence of the Union’s Vice President Com. SR Khatib and Deputy General Secretary Com. Arunji Mhaske today at the Comrade Dattaji Deshmukh hall at Kharbanda Park on 11 December 2022.
Com. Panditrao Kumawat, Zonal Secretary of the Nashik Circle, gave Introductory remarks. At the beginning of the program, on behalf of AIFAP, Com. Vijay and Com. Dubey gave detailed information to all the members and office bearers present about how the government’s ongoing efforts for privatizing the power sector will affect the lives of common people. They said that in this fight against privatization, it is necessary to involve our family members as well as the general public, and we should make efforts for this.
Com. Arunji Mhaske presented the expenses incurred for this Convention in front of all the members and office bearers and also gave detailed information about how it is necessary to collect more funds from the Nashik Zone for excellent planning so that the Convention will be remembered by all participants.
After this, Com. Appa Kulkarni and Com. Rohidas Pawar on behalf of the Transmission Company and Com. Narayan Devkate and Com. Vandana Chavan on behalf of the Generation Company gave information about fund collection from the Zone. The Circle Secretaries of Nashik, Malegaon, Nagar Circles and Civil Circle of the Distribution Company Com. Deepak Gangurde, Com. Vikrant Aher, Com. Sadashiv Bhagwat and Com. SI Khan informed about the collection of funds from all the four Circles. Many members and office bearers present in this meeting expressed their views.
Com. SR Khatib gave in-depth guidance about the Convention. In this meeting, Nashik Circle Publicity Head Com. Mahesh Talekar gifted the union office an image of the union logo.
In his presidential speech, Com. VD Dhanwate Mama gave instructions about the Convention preparations to all members and office bearers present. Further, a committee for fund collection was announced under the guidance of Com. Arunji Mhaske and Com. Panditrao Kumawat. Com. Mahesh Kadam delivered the vote of thanks.
A large number of central office bearers, all office bearers of Nashik Circle, Divisional office bearers, directors of Nashik and Chandwad credit institutions, and branch heads participated in this meeting in large numbers.
