WRMS/NFIR submits a memorandum to the General Manager of Western Railway demanding early filling up of vacant posts of Trackman, Pointsman and Helper Khalasi in the Division

On December 15, 2022, Divisional Secretary of Western Railway Mazdoor Sangh Ratlam Shri Abhilash Nagar ji met the General Manager of Western Railway Shri Ashok Kumar Mishra ji and apprised the General Manager about the problems of railway employees and submitted a memorandum in this regard to him, the main points of which are as follows:

1) The vacant posts of Trackman, Points Man and Helper Khalasi in the Division should be filled soon.
2) Facilities should be expanded in all railway hospitals in the Division and proper number of doctors should be ensured in all the hospitals.
3) Adequate funds should be made available for repair of railway accommodations of railway employees and new rail accommodation.
4) Subordinate rest houses, community halls and holiday homes should be provided to the employees in the Division at the earliest.
5) The work of shunting at Ahmedabad station by mail and express loco pilot of Ratlam high speed trains should be stopped with immediate effect.
6) The imbalance in the operation of goods trains between Western Railway and West Central Railway should be removed immediately.
7) Minimum guaranteed kilometre mileage should be provided to the running staff working in the division.
8) Cadre should be approved according to the yard stick in the coaching depot in Indore.
9) The cadre at Wagon Repair Depot Shambhupura should be reviewed soon.
10) Speedy action should be taken on the promotion cases of Ratlam Division pending in the court.

Treasurer of the trade union Chetan Chaudhary, Sheikh Jamil, Devendra Pradhan, Narendra Sehgal, Hemant Pal Ranjit, Pawan Kumar, Manoj Sinha and others were present during the above meeting and memorandum.

The General Manager assured to take appropriate action on all issues.
