Press Release

Today, on 06.01.2023, a joint meeting of all unions of employees/officers working in power corporations was held at Mazdoor Maidan, Power House, Banipark, Jaipur, in which, under the banner of Ekta Manch, the continuous neglect of power workers by the state government and the power administration was strongly condemned. Although Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is supporting the old pension scheme (OPS) for employees at the national level, not implementing it in his own electricity department is an injustice to the employees of the department.

The representatives of all the organizations present in the meeting unanimously supported the demands, including implementation of OPS in the department, formulation of inter-discom transfer policy, promotion of priority employees to the post of junior clerk, change in designation of technical helper, and grade pay of 4800/- to junior engineers, and decided to hold a state-wide agitation for the five main demands. State-wide massive demonstrations will be held at all district headquarters of Rajasthan on January 11, 2023, at 11 am, and at Vidyut Bhawan on January 18 at 11 am.

Representatives of the following organizations were present in the meeting and gave their consent for a state-wide massive movement under the banner of Ekta Manch.
