The widespread impact of the strike is visible. More than 1000 MW capacity units of thermal power stations have come to a standstill. The absence of staff is also showing widespread impact on power distribution.
I have said it earlier also that this strike has been imposed on us. Due to the stubborn and repressive attitude of the top management of the power corporations, the electricity employees have been forced to go on strike. I again request The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Hon’ble Yogi Adityanath and Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma ji to take the initiative to implement the agreement of 3 December 2022, so that the atmosphere of confrontation created due to the stubborn attitude of the Chairman of the Power Corporations will end.
My appeal to the electricity workers is to continue their peaceful program while maintaining complete unity. Today, on March 17, a protest meeting should be held on all district projects. In Lucknow, a protest meeting will be held at Hydel Field Hostel on Rana Pratap Marg. All power workers of Shakti Bhawan, Madhyaanchal, LESA and all offices of Lucknow should be present in the protest meeting of Lucknow.
Keep in mind that there is a strike. Therefore, no power worker should go to his office or sub-station. Go straight to the field hostel.
