Report received from Com. Sukanta Mallick, Convenor of ‘SAVE RAILWAY SAVE NATION’ Committee
A huge assembly of railwaymen including large number of youth and women demonstrated at Kharagpur DRM of 4th March 2022 at 5 PM.
The call for the demonstration was given by ‘Save Railway Save Nation’ Committee, Kharagpur consisting of SERMU (AIRF)/ AILRSA / AIGC and RREA.
The assembly demanded “NO NPS, NO PRIVATISATION”. Other demands are enclosed.
The leaders of all the four organisations were present.
Com. K.K.Rao / AIRF WC Member and Com. Ajit Ghoshal, Com. A.Mallick, all COBS of SERMU, Com.Sukanta Mallick, COB /SERMU and Convenor of ‘SAVE RAILWAY SAVE NATION’ Committee were present. Com. Mahadev Bhattacharya from AILRSA, Com. Ramnaresh from AIGC, Com. N.R.Patra from RREA spoke and called for a long mass struggle in future against railway privatisation and NPS by adding more organisations. Com. G.P.Yadav from AIGC and Com. U.K.Maitra from AILRSA were also present.
Trainee apprentices, urban bank employees, accounts staff, trackmen and railwaymen from workshop and openline were present to make this demonstration a success.
