Letter by Shri Ganapathy V S R K, General Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Electricity Employees Union (APEEU) to the Special Chief Secretary, Energy Department, Andhra Pradesh
The APEEU has drawn attention to the long pending demands of power sector workers of Andhra Pradesh. The demands include filling up of vacancies and implementation of work load norms and reassessment of number of required workers as per the work load norms. Another demand is for payment of the DA pending since 1st January 2025. The APEEU has also demanded equal pay for equal work” for contract workers and payment of wages to them directly by AP government.
