Hundreds of workers from across various sectors participated in the strike action at Hubli, Karnataka. The protest actions are a part of the call to organize 2 day nationwide All India General strike. Women also participated in large numbers in the protest. Several organizations, AIUTUC, HMS, INTUC, TUCC, BSNLEU, AIIEA, AIBEA, KVGBEA/OA, etc. had jointly organized the protest.
