A massive demonstration was held on 28th March by the Joint Action Committee of workers organizations in front of the Collectorate office in Thane in support of the nationwide strike on 28 and 29 March 2022. Hundreds of workers from across sectors boycott work and participated in the bandh. Huge presence of women on the protest sites was witnessed. Workers marched militantly with banners and slogans.
