In support of Puducherry Strike
Emergency meeting of the core committee of Vidyut Karmchari Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti, UP was held today in Lucknow to extend all support to Puducherry Power Employees & Engineers Strike against privatization RFP documents. Through a letter to Chief Minister Puducherry, Vidyut Karmchari Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti, UP has informed that if privatization documents are not withdrawn and any punitive action is taken by Puducherry Govt to suppress the Strike then UP Power Employees & Engineers shall not remain silent spectators and will be forced to resort to whatever action is required to support Puducherry Power Employees.
