NRMU organized huge march in front of the DRM office, Central Railway, Mumbai on 22nd November to stop privatization in Railways, restore old pension and fill vacancies

Under the leadership of National Railway Mazdoor Union (NRMU) leader Com. Venu Nair and Shri Shiv Gopal Mishra, a huge march was taken out in thousands at the Central Railway DRM office, Mumbai CST for demands to stop privatization / corporatization / monetization of Indian Railways, withdrawal of new pension scheme and implementation of old pension scheme, immediate recruitment on vacant posts, and stop indiscriminate surrender of posts, giving employment to unemployed and stopping privatization of Konkan Railway etc.

Workers from Mumbai Division and Nashik, Pune Division outside of Mumbai also participated in the morcha with full enthusiasm, showing their anger on the railway administration. All the union leaders and women in the front were wearing red clothes and waving red flags in their hands, shouting the slogan of revolution which made the whole atmosphere red. Comrade Venu Nair and Mr. Shiv Gopal Mishra, the fighting leaders of NRMU enthused the workers with their speeches. If the railway administration does not agree to the demands, then it was announced that bigger march would be organised than this and block the railway wheels would be stopped. They congratulated the workers for joining the morcha in large numbers.

On behalf of Kamgar Ekta Committee, Com. Das, Joint Secretary and Com. Suryakant Shinge and Com. Pralhad Gawli joined the anti-privatisation morcha to express their support.
