Report of Jharkhand Colliery Mazdoor Union
Jharkhand Colliery Mazdoor Union protested for the rights of workers and displaced in Coal India’s companies CCL, BCCL and ECCL.
A charter of 29 demands was submitted on the issues of workers and displaced.
Concerns were expressed over the delay in the finalisation of 11th National Pay Agreement due to management’s stubborn attitude.
If the demands are not met by 15 January 2023, on 24 January 2023 production and despatch will be stopped in all the mines of Coal India.
