The wet lease model for BEST buses has been a complete failure and is now endangering the lives of citizens of Mumbai due to inadequately trained drivers. The need is to enhance public transport facilities in the city of Mumbai and therefore the bus fleet should be increased significantly with owned buses, operated by BEST workers.
